Buyer seeking GM plant makes latest pitch to union

Indianapolis autoworker Kim Jordan listened to Justin Norman's presentation Sunday and concluded: She'd take a pay cut to keep her job at the stamping plant.
"I don't want to transfer out of Indianapolis," said Jordan, 39, an employee at GM stamping since 2004. "This is my home."

Norman, a Chicago-area businessman, is counting on General Motors workers such as Jordan to get his wage-cut proposal on a ballot before GM shuts down the 70-year-old factory....More
